This programme is designed for young adults who are entering university in 2024. We want to prepare and ground students for the rigour of university life, and provide a community that can grow together.

(If you are currently doing polytechnic studies and going to NS before going to university in 2026, you should attend IDMCi|uni before NS in 2024),

IDMCi|uni 2024 is from 11 March to 1 June (with the listening retreat from 30 April to 3 May).

Like everyone else in Singapore, we are experiencing increased costs too. We are keeping costs as low for you as is possible.

IDMCi|uni fees are split into two components: (1) Program fees, and (2) Retreat fees.

(1) Program fees

Covenanters enjoy a heavily subsidised program fee of $150.

Non-CEFC attendees pay $300 (this is still way below cost price).

(2) Retreat fees

Retreat centre booking costs are increasing year on year.

For Covenanters, the 4D3N listening retreat is a mandatory part of the programme. You will need to pay just $75 to cover the cost of food.

For non-CEFC attendees, the 2024 retreat cost is $330 (accomodation and food). This is optional for you, but highly recommended as an integral part of the programme.

The programme will be on weekdays (with Tuesday off). Each day will be roughly from 9 am to 5 pm. Throughout the day, you will go for:

(a) Classes and forums to deepen your understanding of God's word, and to develop biblical worldviews;

(b) Group work to build community with your programme mates;

(c) Experiential activities to serve other people in the love of Christ; and

(d) Mentoring to receive insight from wise seniors who have gone ahead of you.

Classes will be on-site at our church premises.

The 3-month programme is necessary to give you enough time to gain stronger foundation in the Scriptures, and then look outwards a bit more e.g. forming a biblical view of the world. The duration of the programme will also help you to form meaningful community with the other participants.

Furthermore, research suggests that on average, it takes more than 2 months to build a habit. We're hoping that this duration helps to build you up in the necessary spiritual disciplines, to help you enter university well!

(Also: 60% of the participants in 2022 thought 12 weeks was too short!)
